We had Hayden's appointment with the specialist for her Hemangioma. He is putting her on a steroid to stop the growth. She will go back in a month to see how the steroid is working, and eventually if it doesn't start shrinking, they will start laser treatments to remove it. I am a little worried about he steroid. Some of the side effects are gastrointestinal discomfort (she already has horrible gas) and weight gain. She is already a big girl. She is 15 lbs 9 oz and she isn't even 4 months old!!!! As soon as she is off of the steroid, her weight will go back to normal....so we shall see if she has any of the side effects. The pharmacy is ordering the steroid, so I will probably be starting it either tomorrow or Friday, so keep your fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly. Here she is being as cute as ever........
