Hayden's 1st Birthday

I can't believe I am just now posting these!  We celebrated Hayden's first birthday last month...I can't believe how fast a year can fly by.  We still didn't have a house, so a great family friend offered to let us have it at their house.  It worked out perfectly and we are so grateful that Tom and Barbara opened up their beautiful home to us.  We had a big family get-together and ate, went swimming, and just hung out.  When we got there Barbara had the whole house decorated.  It was so sweet and so pretty!  Here are some of the decorations:

Finally....

I officially have been the worst blogger ever!!  Things have just been crazy since we moved out of our house, but so much has happened.  We moved out of our house and in with my poor mom until we found a new house.  Well here we are 2 months later, and we are finally moving out this weekend.  We closed on our new house last friday, and they are refinishing the hardwood floors and we will be in by Saturday.  All of our stuff is already there....it is just in the bedrooms and the garage.  We are so excited!!!!  We are not going to know what to do with all of the room in this house.  I will post pictures once we are in.  We are going to have to get a riding lawn mower for the backyard!!

We celebrated Hayden's first birthday last week, and had a great time.  We weren't sure where we were going to have the party, but a family friend offered to have it at his beautiful house that has a great pool.  We had a great little family get-together to celebrate, eat, and swim.  I will post pictures as soon as I find where my memory card reader has disappeared to.  

Hayden is doing great.  She is so close to walking, and she is always on the move.  She is completely off of bottles and is doing great with all of her meals.  She loves any fruit, veggies, chicken, cheese, yogurt and pasta.  She is just the happiest little thing, and there is no such thing as a stranger.  She will reach for everyone, smile at everyone, and talk to everyone.  Every trip to the grocery store lasts at least an hour, because she will stop and talk to everyone we pass.

Hayden's One Year Pics

My sister-in-law, Haley, is an AMAZING photographer!!!  We went up to Frisco this morning to take some cake smash pictures.  Before we let Hayden tear into her cake, she took a few in this adorable onesie.  I can't wait to see the rest, and I can't believe my baby girl is almost 1!!!!!

One Crazy Month

We have had a crazy month.  We sold our house and have been packing and moved out this past weekend.  Hayden had her second laser surgery on the 11th (last Thursday), I had my 30th birthday on Friday, and we moved out Saturday and Sunday.  We haven't bought a new house yet, so we are staying with my poor mom for a little while.  

Hayden is doing great!! She is still really swollen, but is back to her energetic little self.  The doctor was very happy with the results of the first laser treatment.  The hemangioma is so much lighter and is starting to get smaller.  I can't wait to see the results of this treatment once the swelling and bruising go away.  Here are some pictures of H after the first treatment.....

When we started packing up the house, there was way too much for Hayden to get into, so we bought this little play pen.  She loves it and it kept her out of trouble.  She loves to unpack boxes!!!

Baby Shower

We helped host a baby shower/party for our friends Dave and Bridget a few weeks ago.  They are having a little girl, Kynslee Grace, in April.  We can't wait to meet her and have another little girl for Hayden to play with.

Busy, busy, busy.....

We have had a crazy beginning of the year.  Hayden has bounced back in full force from her laser surgery.  She is just a ball of energy - crawling everywhere, pulling up on anything she can, and getting into everything!!  She was really swollen, but finally looked like herself again after about 10 days.

Our house is SOLD!!!  We now have less than a month to find and close on a house, or we are going to have to stay with my poor mom for a little while.  I am so excited to find a new house that will have a little more room for us.  Time to start packing!

I have started Baby Boot Camp.  It's a great boot camp class where you can bring your baby along.  It has completely kicked my butt for the last week. It is a lot harder than I thought it would be.  I thought that it would be a little easier since the class had "baby" in the title.  I was wrong :) 

We had a record-breaking 11 inches of snow last week.  Luckily, our power stayed on, but we lost a tree and lots of limbs off of the other trees.  Here are some pictures of our house and our little snow bunny........

Poor Little Hayden

Hayden survived her first laser surgery for her hemangioma yesterday morning.  We had to be at Children's at 6:00am for her 8:00 surgery.  She was so good!  She just played and laughed the whole time we waited.  They asked about 200 questions, took all of her vital signs, and put her in the cutest little scrubs I have ever seen.  The nurses were all so great and they all loved Hayden. All of the other kids that were there for the laser surgeries were rolled in their beds down to the OR, but the nurse wanted to carry Hayden down.  They laughed and talked all the way down the hall, and stopped to say hi to everyone.  Thats when I lost it! :)  But, the surgery went by so fast. She was pretty upset when she got out, but she relaxed after a little while.  

Her poor little eye is completely swollen shut.  At first, she was pretty confused and kept trying to rub it.  But, now she is getting used to it.  She looks so pitiful!!!  I won't post any pictures, because it is pretty scary looking right now.  Maybe when the swelling goes down a little I will take some.

Thank you everyone for your sweet text messages, voicemails, and FB messages.  It meant a lot to know that you were praying for Hayden and thinking about us!!
